Blessed Sacrament Parish

Finance Council

Finance Council

The Finance Council acts as a consultative body assisting the Pastor in the administration of the finances and care of the property of the parish. The Council formulates the financial policies of our parish, works to develop and monitor the budget, and sets policies for the care of the buildings and property of the parish.

The Finance Council monitors the Scrip program, the Endowment Trust, the regular operating budget of nearly one million dollars, and sees to the care of the property of the parish. Their advice is indispensable to a well-run parish.

Members are appointed by the Pastor for a two-year term according to the norms established by the Diocese.

  • Life insurance transfers
  • Gifts by Last Will and Testament

The Trustees are recognized as experienced and committed members of our parish. The Parish Endowment Trust utilizes the expertise of Trust Point for the investment of the Endowment Trust.
