We Welcome You!

On behalf of our parish family I wish to extend a warm welcome to you on visiting our website. It is my hope and prayer that Blessed Sacrament Parish will be able to provide the support you need in your spiritual journey with our Lord.  We are a vibrant, growing, and engaged community with hundreds of registered families. We work hard each day to bring the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to life through our actions and our words. It is our ardent hope that we do this well through prayer, the sacraments, and hospitality. As Pope Francis invites everyone to feel God’s warm presence and be for all people Jesus Christ, we follow his example with joy in our hearts.

Have a wonderful day and know that you are loved and held in the arms of God’s grace!

Fr. Peter Raj, Pastor

Opening the Word is a dynamic and exciting journey into the Sunday readings that will help you encounter Christ in the Scriptures, apply the teachings of the Word of God to your daily life, and live your Catholic faith in a more powerful way. Accompanying the weekly videos are downloadable guides which will lead you through a prayerful meditation on the Sunday Gospel reading using the ancient form of Catholic prayer, Lectio Divina.

ADVENT OPPORTUNITY - ON THE MYSTERY AND MEANING OF THE INCARNATION

If you are looking for a way to prepare for Christ's coming at Christmas and enter into the Mystery of the Incarnation more fully this Advent Season, then we invite you to Blessed Sacrament for a two-part Advent devotional series.

Dr Holly Ordway will be leading this 2-part series, using the traditional "O" Antiphons and the modern versions by the popular poet Malcolm Guite, to imaginatively reflect on the Mystery and Meaning of the Advent season.  Participant materials will also be provided to go beyond this series in your personal prayer and meditation at home. An opportunity for Confession will be provided before both sessions.

December 5th and 12th from 7:00 - 8:00 pm - Blessed Sacrament Church

Confession at 6:00 pm.

A big THANK-YOU to everyone who contributed to the giving tree this year.

It’s great to see our entryway overflowing with gifts.

Want to continue spreading the Christmas joy? We’re looking for volunteers to deliver Christmas gifts to the homebound and nursing homes the week-end of Dec. 22/23. Sign up in the Narthex if you’d like to help.

WARMING CENTER

Our parish again will “man” the Warming Center on the First Saturday of each month beginning in Nov. Sign up in the back of church to help. Needs include meal preparation and overnight hosts.
