  • Little Flowers is a girl’s club that teaches virtues through scripture, saints, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We are a fun, flexible, faith-filled Catholic club for girls and their mothers!

Little Flowers Girls’ Club ® is a Catholic club for girls ages 5 and up that teaches virtues through scripture, saints’ biographies and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Based on the 1906 Catholic classic “The Catholic Girls’ Guide” by Fr. F.X. Lasance, and the spirituality of St. Thérése, the Little Flower of Liseux, this beautiful, authentically Catholic program, has delighted and instilled in our girls a love of our Catholic Faith for over 25 years.

Little Flowers Girls’ Club® program consists of five years of study: Wreaths I, II, III, IV, and V. Each of the first three Wreaths of study consist of nine virtues each. The program is so adaptable that it can be used with multiple age groups or just one grade at a time. The Leader’s guides explain how. Meetings can be in the home, in a group, parish or group setting. Groups can meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Groups can start with Wreath I, but girls can join at any time.

Like a scouting program, girls earn badges for the virtues they have practiced, life skills they have learned. But unlike most scouting organizations, the girls learn and earn their badges through a distinctly Catholic lens. This Catholic to the Core program relies on the stories of the saints, Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The program is flexible enough to use with a variety of age groups. Little Flowers Girls’ Club® has also been successfully implemented in the family. Sashes, aprons, bandanas, t-shirts and other items are extras that add to the experience, but are not necessary to running a successful Club.

  • Wreaths

There are Five Wreaths that form the foundational program of virtue, faith, and character development. Each petal or badge of a wreath is a comprised of an activity with a corresponding flower, color, saint, and memory verse from Scripture. 5-7 year olds work on three ideas. 8-10 year olds work on six ideas, 10-12 year olds accomplish eight activities, with 12 and up completing all 10 activities. Each wreath is designed to build on the former and helping Catholic girls grow into virtuous Catholic women ready to face the challenges of this world while staying close to Our Lord.

    Patron Saint Badges

These patches are designed for youth ages 5 to 15 as an award system to widen the experience of the participants within a Catholic context. So, if one is working on pets, the patron saint associated with learning how to care for pets is St. Francis of Assisi, etc.

Each badge has five fairly simple tasks associated with it. The first item on the list is to learn about the saint and their connection with the subject of which they are patron. This first item is mandatory in earning the badge. Younger participants can then choose two more, so that three of the five items are required to earn the badge.

    Authentic Leadership Track

Little Flowers Girls’ Club Leadership Track Awards are earned by girls through completing the specific requirements found in The Complete Leader’s Guide. The Leadership Track is a way for girls to step into age-appropriate leadership roles as they advance through the Little Flowers program. The girls will practice and learn skills through projects that teach initiative, execution, and follow-through. The goal of the Leadership Track is to form Catholic girls into Catholic women who lead and serve the Church through their diocese, parishes, and communities.

    Tea and Luncheon

The Mother Daughter Tea Party is an annual event for all the girls and mothers in the Little Flowers Club. It is meant to be a celebration of the completion of another year of growth in virtue and experience in the Little Flowers and a time to give thanks to God while enjoying each other’s company.
